Dear Rachel,

Re: Family Collins Killarney southern Ireland & Rachel

Thank you so very much for taking the time and trouble to research so carefully some of my father's family for me. You have been brilliant and have given me so much joy to hear about a family I knew very little of.

The copies of the records you sourced are some things I will treasure, and the personal information you found was lovely to hear.

My only regret is that I didn't know more of the family whilst they were alive, but you have brought me closer, thank you.

I wish you all the “Luck of the Irish” in your new venture, but I know you wont need it as you have a marvellous talent/skill.

Yours thankfully

For many years I and two well known Irish research companies tried to find my great grandmother's baptism, her siblings and the marriage of their parents. I was told one or other names were incorrect and later attached to a family with rather tenuous links.

On a visit to Killarney to check records personally I was put in touch with Munster Ancestors. Within two days they had solved my problem because of their local knowledge regarding changed boundaries. Now I had seven siblings for my great grand mother plus the marriage of the parents.

With this knowledge I was able to locate several living descendants. We enjoyed a wonderful 'reunion' and I walked on old family land. This was a great thrill.

I am extremely grateful to Munster Ancestors for their discoveries. After the initial work they went on to help me find further descendants.

For over ten years I have been trying to find my Irish roots.  I have spent MANY hours looking for my family in Ireland and to no avail.  I met two ladies from Munster Ancestors and within three weeks they had provided me with the baptism documents of my great grandfather and great grandmother.  Now I can not wait to get back to Ireland and visit the county where my ancestors came from.
